Holiday Spotlight of Downtown Placerville Businesses

Happy Holidays from the Placerville Downtown Association!

The street is decorated and the shops are decking the walls and windows making this a particularly beautiful time to be on Main Street.

We have many fun activities planned throughout the Holiday Season as well, so be sure to check out our community calendar for all the details.

This year, we are promoting many of our unique businesses that make up Downtown Placerville so that you can learn of the opportunities you have to shop locally and support local businesses, their families, and ultimately our community.

We know that there are many places for you to shop and some of them are very convenient (online/big box stores) and often they are a little cheaper, and that can be tempting. But consider the personal attention you receive from shop owners who are ready to listen to what you are interested in and then are able to direct you to something that fits your needs perfectly.

We also ask you to consider how much you enjoy being able to stroll the Main Street and see new and interesting things all the time and remember that they can only be there as long as they are supported by you.

We thank you for your support of small, local businesses in the past and we ask that you continue to support them this Holiday Season and beyond.

They are a big part of what makes Placerville a community in every sense of the word.
