Beautiful Art will Once Again Grace our Downtown

We are seeking local artists to share their talents with the Placerville Community.

Placerville Art on Parade is excited to have artists submit designs for this summer’s 2019 Banners on Parade art exhibit on Placerville’s Main Street! The painted banners will be displayed on light poles on Main Street throughout the summer months. Our theme this year is “The Sierra Nevada”.

The Images of Hope Program at Marshall Hospital Is the Sponsor of this event.

The primary sponsor of the Banners on Parade is Images of Hope, a program at Marshall Hospital that serves E Dorado County by supporting those in our community who have been impacted by cancer.

The banners will have their premiere at the Images of Hope “White on White” event on Sunday, June 2 at Rainbow Orchards. After that, the banners will go on display on Main Street until early September

Come to Winderlust: A Renegade Wine Fest to bid on your favorite banner to take home with you.

The banners will be auctioned off at the September 7th Winderlust: A Renegade Wine Fest on Main Street, featuring Island of Black and White and Achilles Wheel. This event is new to Main Street and will be hosted by the Placerville Downtown Association and the El Dorado Winery Association. Proceeds from the auction of the banners at this event will benefit Placerville Art on Parade to enable more wonderful community art on Main Street in future years.

Be part of this colorful event that will enhance and benefit the community!

We invite artists, craftsmen, designers, architects and art students to submit designs for the 2019 Banners on Parade by February 22, 2019 via mail to the address on the application.
