Our Biggest and Most Successful Event Yet!

What a fun night we had at this year's Girls' Night Out - it just keeps getting better and better, year after year!

We estimate we had over a thousand guests on the street - WOW!

We also had over 40 Main street businesses participating in the event with in-store games and specials, and 10 merchants even poured wine for their guests.

We caught up with the event's leader, Heidi Mayerhofer, to find out more about how the event went...

How did this years event compare to last years?

Last year's event was also very successful and fun with the Tacos and Tiaras theme, but this year was the first with a full street closure. This allowed for us to bring in fantastic food trucks and lots of on street entertainment.

We doubled our size of the event for sure this year.

The Lovely Heidi Mayerhofer!

What was your favorite part of the event?

My favorite part of the evening was the champagne at the Belltower and the three DJ's filling the entire street with dancing!

Were the Bling Bags a big hit?

Everyone loved the bling bags, especially the feather boas! They really added to the festivities!

What did attendees say about the event?

The google reviews have been 5 star. They loved the games in the stores and the theme of Hollywood Glam.

Women love to dress up and we get so few opportunities!

What activities did attendees get to take part in?

Stores had activities like Plinko for prizes, missing puzzle pieces to be tried for prizes, keys that needed to be fitted to open a box for prizes, and many stores had door prizes.

We had red carpets and interviewers on the street as well as paparazzi walls for photo ops.

Each event goer received a feather boa, a Girls' Night Out wine glass, a bling bag, and a coupon book with hundreds of dollars of value inside (the coupons are good until the end of August!).

There was a fashion show that featured the tuxedos of Combellack's and the women's wear of Ambiance and Off Broadway

We had four exotic cars that women could sit and be photographed in, as well as a fire truck with some of El Dorado's hottest attending it and giving out fashion rings to our attendees.

We had outstanding food trucks as well.
